CDL-A Weekend Driver — Dedicated Morning Routes (Fri/Sat/Sun) — Home Daily

The Job

This is a set weekend schedule — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings — running dedicated grocery delivery routes every week. No load boards, no hunting freight, no sitting at docks waiting to be dispatched. You run your route and you're home by early afternoon.

Our routes operate 7 days a week. Our lead driver covers Monday–Friday; this position owns the weekend and serves as our vacation-coverage driver, with additional shifts available when our lead driver takes time off.

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday — morning routes departing approximately 1:00–2:00 AM, returning late morning / early afternoon
• Monday–Thursday off, every week
• Additional shifts available covering vacation time and peak weeks — optional, and first refusal is yours

Pay & Incentives

• $32.00/hour base pay, paid weekly
• +$3.00/hour weekend differential on Saturday and Sunday shifts
• $500 retention bonus after 90 days
• First in line for a full-time position if one opens
• All hours over 40 in a week paid at time-and-a-half
• Company fuel card — no out-of-pocket expenses

The Equipment & The Freight

• Company-assigned tractor, maintained and road-ready either way
• Customer refrigerated trailers; grocery store deliveries across IL, IN, MI, WI, and MO
• Mostly no-touch — store personnel unload at most stops; some stops are driver-unload using an electric pallet jack (provided)

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Clean MVR and safety record
• Refrigerated (reefer) experience preferred, but not required for the right driver
• Able to work morning hours and run on appointment times
• Must pass DOT drug screen and road test
